HEIC HEICtoJPG

About this converter

A free HEIC to JPG converter that runs entirely in your browser — no upload, no sign-up, no catch.

Why this exists

Most people meet HEIC by accident. You take a photo on your iPhone, try to send or upload it somewhere, and it just will not open. The usual fix is some random online converter that asks you to upload your photo to a server you know nothing about.

I did not like that trade. So this tool does the whole conversion inside your browser, on your own device. Your photos never get uploaded anywhere. You get the JPG, and nobody else ever sees the file.

How it works

When you drop a file in, the page decodes it and re-saves it in the format you want — all with code running locally in your browser. There is no server doing the work, which is why it keeps going even if you switch off your internet after the page loads. It also means a folder of 50 photos is not stuck behind someone else's upload queue; they all convert together.

The same engine powers every tool here — HEIC to JPG, plus HEIC to PNG, WebP, PDF, and a few image utilities. Each one is a thin wrapper around the same private, in-browser idea.

Who builds it

This is an independent project, built and maintained by one person who likes small, fast, honest tools. It is free to use, there is no account to make, and there is no upsell waiting three clicks in.
